the whole shebang…

the ins and outs & ups and downs of a new novelist's journey

Join the Wave!!! November 30, 2009

So, yeah, I still haven’t been around. But, I’m back to writing Avalon and am hoping to be Truly finished soon.

For those of you who still happen to stop by even though I’ve been incredibly boring of late ;) , I’d like to offer some of my Google Wave invites. I have two accounts, and I know most people already have an invite (and account) by now, but the amount of invites I have is just ridiculous, so I’d like to offer TEN to the first people who either:
1) follow @fuelyourwriting on twitter — and then leave a comment here letting me know you did so
or
2) go on to fuelyourwriting.com and choose one of the fabulous articles that looks the most interesting to you and leave a comment for the equally fabulous author (but of course, since s/he wrote said article!) speaking your writerly mind =) (is that a word? idk and i don’t care;)) and then let me know…

I’ll contact the first ten people who have done this through the email address you leave with your comment (which is why I asked for a second comment here after commenting at FYW) and I’ll then send you your invite.
Easy peasy =)

I’ve been kinda busy… November 13, 2009

So I moved. Again. Yup.
I’m back up with my family and struggling in some ways, but my writing has never been better. I’m inspired. I’m in love with my characters. I even adore my crazy articles about bamboo and iDogs. Yup.
I’m also thrilled because I have a new job!!!!
I am now Co-Editor for Fuel Your Writing!! So thrilled about this new adventure and am throwing myself straight into it.
The best part is that I get to do a lot of what I already did . . . Live on Facebook and Twitter!! How cool is that?!??

Anyway, I’m off to write some stuff — need to edit my article for Monday (seriously…i can edit my own stuff now!! …well I already did because I’m just like that, but now I can *officially* do it =))

Hope everyone’s good. Sorry I’ve been such a horrible blogger lately. I hope to change that soon (yeah, I know I keep saying that…). But seriously, the more I have to do, the more I tend to get done. It’s all about time management and ambition and confidence. So we’ll see ;)
