First, I’m sooo happy to say that I am now a professional writer. I’m freelancing and my first article was approved to be published just today and I’ve already submitted another.
But, I also finished writing an article for Fuel Your Writing about twenty minutes ago and just have to once-over it before I submit. Friday is my day to post for If You Give a Girl a Pen and I’m already working on that. I have NO intention of quitting the writing I do for free just because I’m getting paid now.
And this article posted on Fuel tells you exactly why.
Not getting paid is the best way to end up with money.
I always wanted it to happen, but never thought it would. Always thought it was just a dream…. Well, I was wrong and I’m living proof that putting forth lots (and lots) of effort will get you where you want to go–or at least get you started on the path!
So go read Giselle’s article and donate your time and your knowledge. You’ll be happy you did!!!

haha!! i read the 2nd comment first in my email and was rather confused… got it, now
i work for a company that contracts me out to large sites like ehow and livestrong. stuff like that. nothing super exciting, but easy—and i’m learning new stuff about random things, so i guess that’s kind of fun!
i’m actually really enjoying it.
as of now, though, i only have articles approved for publication…they haven’t made it on to the site yet. i’ll let ya know. probably on twitter =)
