NaNo! October 23, 2009
Just signed up.
I was planning on just *planning* the book last night, but I ended up writing 2.5k instead. And I’m loving it!!
I didn’t think I was gonna do NaNo this year because I have so much going on, but I guess I am. I have a feeling I’ll actually win, too!! (At least I’d better
)
K, that’s all. Not much else going on. Alexis is still officially not talking to me, so I’m spending my time on Kyle now. Heh, maybe it’ll make Alexis jealous and I can finish Avalon…
I’m stuck :/ October 17, 2009
It’s not too fun…
I think I’m going back to my college ways. If I have to read, I don’t want to. Now that i have to write, I’m less interested in my WiP.
To remedy that, I’ve just downloaded the 15-day free trial of My Story Writer, which I got HERE.
I think I’ll play around with it today and see how I like it. I’ll let y’all know!!! =)
writing break. October 11, 2009
So I’ve just recently discovered this site that is Wonderful for when you’re at that point where you just cannot read another word. And you can’t think straight to be able to write anything more.
I just go on it and exercise/rest my eyes for a couple minutes, and then I feel rejuvenated! Plus, it’s fun!! =)

news and a great post! October 6, 2009
First, I’m sooo happy to say that I am now a professional writer. I’m freelancing and my first article was approved to be published just today and I’ve already submitted another.
But, I also finished writing an article for Fuel Your Writing about twenty minutes ago and just have to once-over it before I submit. Friday is my day to post for If You Give a Girl a Pen and I’m already working on that. I have NO intention of quitting the writing I do for free just because I’m getting paid now.
And this article posted on Fuel tells you exactly why.
Not getting paid is the best way to end up with money.
I always wanted it to happen, but never thought it would. Always thought it was just a dream…. Well, I was wrong and I’m living proof that putting forth lots (and lots) of effort will get you where you want to go–or at least get you started on the path!
So go read Giselle’s article and donate your time and your knowledge. You’ll be happy you did!!!
how does music inspire us? October 2, 2009
So I know I’ve been a slacker when it comes to this blog (and my other one), but I swear I’ve been writing. Well, mostly emails, but still…
I did finish another article for Fuel Your Writing, so that’s something. Here’s the link if you feel like checking it out. It’s about The Beatles and how their music, and their ethics, can help us with our writing.
Also, I have (yes, another!) new pitch for my book. It’s getting better as I go, so I hope to have it right one day. Here it is! (Ignore the red arrow on the rank — I do!)
Now, I’m off to attempt to finish this book. I need a clean slate for NaNoWriMo!!!
xx -e*
